Nathan’s jeans

13 Oct

I have made Nathan some jeans now too, but I drafted the pattern for these so I wasn’t sure how well they would work. I am so very pleased with he they turned out. The pattern on the pockets was done using my Coverstitch machine and there were no sharp turns and I think it worked really well.

These look amazing Christine! I still can’t believe you make their clothes! I wish I had more patience for sewing, I have a machine but rarely use it now…although i’m thinking about dusting it off to make Bean a special stuffed toy for Christmas 🙂

Hi Chris, loving reading your blog…like the new car and camper trailer…we have a pretend 4WD Kruger, but keep talking about camping and getting a camper trailer…was good to get your opinion as I was thinking we would get a Subaru next! What sort of camper trailer have you brought and does it have a hard floor when erected? What do the kids sleep on? Claire and Bernie just brought a trailer and she was looking for decent beds for their kids – who are tall!
Ment to say that we are home at Christmas and then I am hoping to have another visit this summer with the kids….perhaps we could have a quilting workshop but would need to outsource the babysitting! Rotary cutters and kids are a bad bad mix! Either that or I could lend you my old ruler….i also have a mini cutter I dont use…then you would only need to buy a mat.
